Sam Cawthorn is the current Tasmanian 2009 YOUNG AUSTRALIAN OF THE YEAR. Less then 3 years ago he was involved in a major accident and DIED, thankfully he was resuscitated leaving him with an amputated right arm and a permanently disabled right leg.
Sam is now a highly sort after International Communicator and Opportunist. He has a background as a Youth Futurist and also a highly skilled musician. He has spoken on 4 continents to over 70,000 people. Sam is at the forefront of global trends and see’s beyond impossibilities to the realms of possibilities. His conversations challenges and awakens mindsets that leaves you with the best dinner table conversations for years to come.
Sam demonstrates the awesome power and strength human has through his simple yet life changing story and experience he had. Sam was told that he would NEVER be able to walk again yet after being in hospital for 5 months and in a wheelchair for almost a year he started to walk again. He is also one of the only people in the WORLD that plays the guitar with an above elbow amputation.
Sam continues to breakthrough physical, emotional and mental barriers and is now traveling around the world sharing tools and strategies he has used and inspiring others to overcome their own barriers to achieve the impossible. Sam continues to develop his conversations and will soon be studying at Harvard university in USA.
Sam’s messages are uniquely designed for each group of people fortunate enough to hear him. He will captivate through stories of hope for the future, he will empower through his story of life after death and he will deliver a call to action for your staff, your students, your delegates or whoever is fortunate enough to listen.
